## What vendors can do Once added to an event, a vendor can: - View the event details relevant to their role - See tasks assigned to them - Check in at the event through their own view Vendors do not appear on the guest list and do not go through the RSVP or registration flow. ## Adding a vendor to an event Go to the event you want to add a vendor to. Open the Vendors section of your event. Enter the vendor's business name and contact details. The vendor is added to your event. ## Assigning tasks to vendors Tasks can be assigned to vendors just like they can be assigned to co-hosts. When you create or edit a task, select the vendor as the assignee. The vendor sees their assigned tasks in their vendor view. This is useful for coordinating pre-event delivery, setup, and breakdown responsibilities with your service providers. ## Vendor check-in On the day of the event, vendors can be checked in through the vendor check-in flow — separate from the guest check-in process. This lets you track which vendors have arrived and are on-site. ## Business profile setup To receive vendor assignments and access their task list, a vendor needs a business profile set up in Fast Party (via /business/setup). Once their profile is active, they can be added to events and access their vendor view. Vendors access their assigned tasks and check-in through their own dedicated view, separate from the host and guest experience.
