FastParty makes it easy to invite guests, send them everything they need, and track their responses in real time.

Adding guests

You have four ways to add guests to an event:
  • One at a time — enter a name and email address manually.
  • Bulk entry — paste in multiple names and emails at once.
  • CSV import — upload a spreadsheet with guest details.
  • From a Circle — add an entire saved guest group in one click. Learn about Circles.

Sending invitations

When you add a guest, FastParty sends them an invitation email automatically. The email includes the event name, date, time, location, and a personal RSVP link.
Guests do not need a FastParty account to RSVP. They click the link in the email and respond directly.
If you’d prefer to add guests without sending invitations immediately, you can hold invitations and send them manually when you’re ready.

RSVP tracking

Each guest has one of four RSVP statuses:
StatusMeaning
PendingInvitation sent, no response yet
AcceptedGuest is coming
DeclinedGuest can’t make it
MaybeGuest is unsure
Your event dashboard shows a live RSVP count. You can filter the guest list by status and send a reminder to anyone who hasn’t responded yet.

Registered Events and registration approval

For Registered Events, the RSVP flow is different. Guests don’t receive a direct invitation — instead, they submit a registration request which you must approve before they’re confirmed.
  • Pending registrations appear in the Registrants tab of your event dashboard.
  • You can approve or decline individual registrations, or bulk-approve all pending requests at once.
  • Approved guests receive a confirmation and are added to the guest list.
  • Declined guests are notified that their request was not accepted.
Registered Events are useful for ticketed events, events with limited capacity, or any gathering where you want to vet attendees. See Registered Events for the full setup guide including ticket types, pricing, and the registration dashboard.

Guest details

For each guest you can see:
  • Name and email address
  • RSVP status
  • Dietary preference (if food preferences are enabled)
  • Potluck contribution (if potluck is enabled)

Removing guests

You can remove a guest from an event at any time. If they’ve already received an invitation, they’ll get an email letting them know they’ve been removed.
Use Circles to save groups of guests you invite regularly — family, work team, book club — so you can add everyone in one click for future events.
