Every Event Page has a wall at the bottom: Updates from the host. It’s a running feed of everything you’ve told guests about the event, and the one place they can scroll back to.

The update appears on the wall under Broadcast History, and every guest is notified straight away on their own channels.
The wall is broadcast only: hosts and co-hosts post, and guests read. Important changes to the event itself, such as a new name or date, are recorded in the history too.

When to post

  • Something has changed and it can’t wait: parking has moved, doors open later, bring an umbrella.
  • You’ve added something you want guests to look at: the schedule is published, the menu is in the Event Folder, the photo album is open.
  • A thank-you after the event.
You don’t need to post every time you set something up. When you turn on event tools after the invitations have gone out, Fast Party gathers the changes into a digest the next day automatically. Post Update is for when you want guests to know now.
