An RSVP event asks one thing of you: will you be joining? You’ll usually get the invitation on WhatsApp or by email.

1. Open the invitation

Tap View Invitation in the message. It opens the event page — the date, time, venue (with Get Directions), who’s hosting, and what the event is about.

2. Reply Yes, Maybe or No

Your reply card is on the event page. You can change your reply any time later, so pick what’s true right now.

3. Tell the host who’s coming with you

When you pick Yes or Maybe, the card asks Anyone coming with you? Add the number of Adults and Children coming with you — not counting yourself — then tap Confirm. The card then shows your reply and the total, including you.

Change your reply

Tap Change RSVP on your reply card and pick again. If you’re coming after all, choose Yes or Maybe and add who’s coming with you.
When you change your reply, check the Adults and Children counts before you tap Confirm — they may start again at 0.

What opens once you reply

Saying Yes or Maybe opens the tools the host has set up for guests who are coming — like choosing what you’d like to eat and drink, your travel details, or what you’ll bring. Tools marked Action needed are waiting on you. Once you fill one in, it says Done. If you say No, you’ll still see the host’s updates at the bottom of the page, and you can still send a gift or a message in Gifting & Best Wishes. See Your event page for every tool and what its label means.
