# Payments

> Connect your organization's own Razorpay (India) or Stripe (USA) account so tickets and contributions go straight to you.

Open **Settings › Payments** on the Admin Dashboard. This is where you connect the account your organization gets paid into. Only admins see it, and only admins ever see payments or any financial information.

**Fast Party never holds your money.** Ticket sales and contributions go straight into your organization's own account.

## What payments are for

* **Tickets** for [Registration Events](https://docs.fastparty.ai/public-events/overview.md) with paid tiers
* **Contributions** your organization raises from members

Set up payments before you sell tickets or raise contributions.

## Connect your account

Your organization's region decides how payments work. It's set when the organization is created and shown in **Settings › Organization**.

**India (Razorpay)**

**Already have a Razorpay account?** You just connect it. Your Razorpay account already has your business paperwork in place, so you don't need to send Fast Party any documents.

1. In your Razorpay Dashboard, open **API Keys** and generate a key. Use your live key, which starts with `rzp_live_`.
2. In **Settings › Payments**, under **Payout**, tap **Add Razorpay Account**.
3. Enter an **Account Name** (for example, your organization's name), your **Razorpay Key ID** and your **Razorpay Key Secret**, then tap **Save**.

Payments for your organization's tickets and contributions then settle straight into your Razorpay account.

**No Razorpay account yet?** Sign up for a Razorpay business account first. Razorpay takes care of your business verification during its own sign-up. Then connect it as above.

> Keep your Key Secret private. Enter it only in **Settings › Payments**, and never send it to anyone by email or chat.

**USA (Stripe)**

Payments settle through your organization's own Stripe account. Our team connects it with you during setup.
