# Quorum by Fast Party: Associations

> Get started with Quorum by Fast Party, for associations, societies and member bodies.

**Bring your members together to take part.** Quorum by Fast Party is Fast Party set up for associations: professional and trade bodies, residents' welfare associations, housing societies, service clubs, cultural and religious societies, and volunteer groups. One member list, circles for every chapter and committee, and every notice sent once, in your association's name.

## How an association fits together

| In Fast Party | For your association |
| - | - |
| Organization | Your association, with its own [organization page](https://docs.fastparty.ai/organizations/org-page.md) |
| All Members | Your member list: everyone in the association. You can rename it, for example "All Residents". |
| Circles | Circles drawn from the member list, for each chapter, committee, block, wing or working group |
| Events | AGMs, general body meetings, festivals, workshops and drives |
| Managers | Committee members who run a circle or an event for you |

## Get set up

**1. Set up your organization with our team**

Tap **Set up an organization** on your Home page, or email [contact@fastparty.ai](mailto:contact@fastparty.ai). We set up your organization with your logo, your own WhatsApp Business number and email sender, and payments into your own Razorpay (India) or Stripe (US) account. [Set up your organization →](https://docs.fastparty.ai/organizations/setup.md)

**2. Bring your member list across**

Send us your member register and past records. We import them once into **All Members**. [How data migration works →](https://docs.fastparty.ai/data-migration.md)

**3. Build your circles**

A member joins the association once, into All Members, and lands on its organization page. Placing them in a chapter, a committee or a block circle is a pick from the list, not another invitation. [Circles and events →](https://docs.fastparty.ai/organizations/circles-and-events.md)

**4. Run your first meeting or event**

Use an [RSVP Event](https://docs.fastparty.ai/private-events/event-creation.md) for an AGM where you need a headcount, a [Registration Event](https://docs.fastparty.ai/public-events/overview.md) for workshops with sign-ups or fees, or an [Open Event](https://docs.fastparty.ai/events/open-events.md) when everyone in a circle is welcome.

**5. Keep members in the loop**

Send one broadcast to All Members or to the circles you choose, and use posts, polls and surveys in each circle to hear from members between meetings.

## Who can do what

| Role | Can |
| - | - |
| **Admin** | Everything: the roster, every circle and event, broadcasts, Settings and payments. The first admin is set up with your organization; more admins are managers who've been promoted. |
| **Manager** | Runs the circles and events they create or are assigned. Never money or Settings. |
| **Member** | Be part of their circles, RSVP or register for events, and vote in polls and answer surveys. |

Fees and contributions go straight to the association's own account. Fast Party never holds the money.

## Ask your association data anything

[Connect Claude or ChatGPT](https://docs.fastparty.ai/claude-integration/overview.md) and ask in plain language:

* "How many members came to the last general body meeting?"
* "Which chapter circle has been quiet this month?"
* "Draft a broadcast to All Members about Sunday's AGM."
