# Coterie: Clubs and Associations

> Get started with Coterie, Fast Party for clubs, associations, RWAs and societies.

**Your members, all in one place.** Coterie is Fast Party set up for member organizations: sports and social clubs, residents' associations, service clubs, cultural and religious societies, and volunteer bodies. It gives your register one front door, every section built from it, and every notice sent once.

## Your workspace, in club language

When your organization is set up as a **club or association**, the workspace relabels itself:

| In Fast Party | In Coterie |
| - | - |
| Organization | Your club or association |
| Circles | Sections and committees |
| Members | Members |
| Events | Club events |
| Managers | Section managers |

## Get set up

<Steps>
  <Step title="Set up your workspace with our team">
    Email [contact@fastparty.ai](mailto:contact@fastparty.ai) to create your organization. We set up your logo and brand, your own WhatsApp Business number and email sender, and payments into the club's Razorpay or Stripe account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Bring your register across">
    Send us your member register and past event records. Our team imports them once as a structured roster. Where family members share a phone number, the roster keeps one row per person, and possible duplicates are checked by a person rather than merged automatically. [How data migration works →](/data-migration)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Build your sections and committees">
    A member joins the club once. Placing them in a section, a committee or a chapter is a pick from the register, not another invitation. New people always enter through the organization first, so the register stays the register. [Circles →](/recurring-events/overview)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your first club event">
    Run a club night, a tournament, an AGM or a family day. Use a [Registration Event](/public-events/overview) for sign-ups and tickets with QR check-in at the gate, an [RSVP Event](/private-events/event-creation) for an invitation-only gathering, or an [Open Event](/events/open-events) when every member of a section is welcome and you don't need RSVPs.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send notices to the right sections">
    Send one notice to exactly the sections you choose. Each member receives it only once, even if they belong to several sections.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Who can do what

| Role | Can |
| - | - |
| **Organization admin** | Manage the register, all sections, broadcasts and settings. Only admins change who someone is. |
| **Section manager** | Run their own section: its members, posts and events. They can add anyone already on the register. |
| **Member** | Join sections, RSVP or register for events, and take part in posts, polls and surveys. |

Fees, collections and welfare contributions go straight to the club's own account. Fast Party never holds the money.

<Tip>
  Already have a club app? Coterie can run alongside it, adding registration events, notices and the AI connection on top, or it can run everything. Your call.
</Tip>

## Ask your club data anything

[Connect Claude or ChatGPT](/claude-integration/overview) to your club and ask in plain language:

* "Which section is most active this year?"
* "Who hasn't renewed yet?"
* "Message the Golf section about Sunday."

Your AI sees only what your account can see in Fast Party.

## Coming soon

A CRM for the time between events: wishing members on birthdays and anniversaries from the club, tracking each member's interests and years of service, and reaching the right people for committee seats, sponsorships and volunteer drives.
